The signifcant enhancments enable the client to complete change the pricing structure and how it charges for various permits.
Advanta Solutions LLC has been awarded a sub-contract with Jacobs Engineering of Pasadena, the prime contarctor with the city of Los Angeles. Advanta Solutions is to develop a web-based system for the Bureau of Engineering in the Department of Public Works. The system will automate the process through which the Deparment selects contractors for on-call work, ensuring consistency and transparency in the selection process.
Advanta Solutions LLC will begin a new web-based software development project with the California Appellatte Project (and 3 other Projects in the state). This project involves replacing all of the existing time and biling and project management systems which Advanta Solutions developed for the Projects in the mid-90s with a new and far more comprehensive web-based system. The project is very large in scope as it involves interfaces with other systems run but the State's Administrative Office of The Court and will be in development for at least a few several years.
Advanta Solutions, Inc. will be disbanding and reforming as a limited liability company imediately, based on advice from the company^s accounting firm. This change is simply a legal/accounting formality according company president Leon Chalnick. "We will continue operating as we have since the company was formed in 1989. Our work, clients, practices and policies will all remain as they are."
Advanta Solutions, Inc., a premier developer of web/database applications in Long Beach, California, has been awarded a California Multiple Awards Schedule (CMAS) contract with the state of California.

Leon Chalnick, founder and President of Advanta Solutions, Inc. has again helped write the latest version of the best selling book on Macromedia's ColdFusion application server. Title credits on The ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit include Ben Forta and Nate Weiss and other long time contributor, David Crawford.
Advanta Solutions, Inc. completed the delivery of a hands-on training program entitled, "Introduction to ColdFusion" to California State University, Long Beach campus (CSULB). The training was provided through the Southern California ColdFusion User Group, which was founded by Advanta principal, Leon Chalnick.
The training program, which will be commercially available in early 2001, was produced and developed by Leon Chalnick and Advanta project manager, Michael Goodwin. Both Leon and Michael delivered the training at CSULB.

Macromedia, makers of ColdFusion, have selected Leon Chalnick, President of Advanta Solutions, Inc. (Advanta) to speak at the second annual Developer's conference in Washington from November 6 through November 8, 2000.
Mr. Chalnick will be giving an updated, 'hands-on' presentation entitled State Maintenance Strategies. The presentation describes and demonstrate the various techniques that ColdFusion web application developers have to maintain the state in their web applications. Hand-on examples will help developers get experience building applications that use various state maintenance techniques.
In an effort to exploit synergies and economies of scale, Professional Presence Providers, Inc. (PPP) will be merging with its sister company, Professional Information Consulting, Inc. (PIC). as of January 1, 2000.
The merged corporation will be renamed, Advanta Solutions, Inc. with the domain name, advantasolutions.com. Leon Chalnick, the president of both firms, noted that "Having two distinct companies made a lot of sense when Professional Presence Providers, Inc. was formed in 1996--the lines of business were different and distinct. But now, the businesses have grown very similar. This merger will greatly simplify our day to day operations, thus enabling us to provide better client service and work more efficiently."
